Common questions

I can't sign in with Apple / Google

The app works fully anonymously by default — you don't need to sign in to use any feature. Sign-in only enables cross-device sync and your name on the public leaderboard.

If sign-in fails: check your network connection, then try again. Most "won't sign in" issues are flaky wi-fi at the moment of tap. Still stuck? Email us with your iOS version and a screenshot.

My GPS check-in says "too far" but I'm at the ground

The app verifies you're within 500m of the home stadium's coordinates. If you're at a temporary venue, an away day, or the coordinates we have are slightly off, the verified-stamp will fail — but you can still log the visit as unverified. Tap the Book In button again and choose "Just log it".

If the ground's coordinates are wrong, please email us — we fix these within a few days.

A club / ground / badge is missing

We cover 528 clubs across 31 leagues (men's + women's). If you spot a gap, email us with the club name, league, ground, and ideally the Wikipedia URL. We typically add new entries in the next monthly update.

How does the Tip Jar work?

The Tip Jar uses Apple's standard In-App Purchase system — the same flow as buying anything else on iOS. Tap a tip card, confirm with Face ID / passcode, and that's it. We see only "a tip happened" — not your card details, billing address, or any personal info.

Tips are voluntary, don't unlock anything in the app, and are never required to use any feature. Apple takes 15% (Small Business Program); the rest covers server costs and keeps the lights on.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings (hamburger menu) → scroll to Account → Delete my account. Confirm. All your server-side data is permanently removed within 24 hours.

Local data (visit history on this device) is removed when you uninstall the app.

I want to export my visit history

Email us. We'll send your full visit history as JSON within 7 working days. Free, no questions asked — it's your data.

Push notifications aren't working

Push notification delivery is currently queued for a future update — the in-app preferences UI is live, but we haven't shipped the server-side delivery yet. We'll announce it on the App Store What's New when it goes live.
